Thankfully, it’s not every day that the alarm goes off at 4:30 am, however, today was one of those days. One of my best friends Sophia and her brother Henrik both left on their missions today and we were at the airport to say goodbye to them. I’ve had many loved ones leave on their missions but I never get used to the feeling of how hard it is to say bye to them for 1,5 or 2 years. It’s just such a strange feeling of being so proud and thankful and impressed with what they are about to do during that time, mixed with the sting of heartache you feel because you know you won’t see them for so long. I’m gonna miss you Snowflake!

After getting back and having slept for another few hours, Noomi, Benedicte and I went in to town to have lunch and watch the new release of Titanic. It is a great movie and it’s really meant to be watched in theaters, but for some reasons that movie just doesn’t move me as much as is seems to do everyone else. Usually I’m a huge crier at movies but I just can’t get over how cheesy and a little ridiculous the love story is in this one. Despite the mediocre movie, we had a great day with lots of laughter. How thankful and fortunate I am to have such great friends.
